Lionel Messi officially unveiled at Paris Saint-Germain

This Wednesday morning, Lionel Messi was officially unveiled as a PSG player at the Parc des Princes. His 21-year relationship with Barcelona was officially ended on Tuesday as he completed a medical and officially signed with the number 1 French club. He signed a two-year contract which includes an option of a third year. Following his unveiling, Messi had a press conference before stepping out to greet the thousands of fans in attendance. "Everyone knows that I left Barcelona a few days ago, it was tough it's true because it was several years I've been there. Lionel Messi agrees to join Paris Saint-Germain on two-year contract

Following a shock exist from Barcelona, Messi will be joining French side Paris Saint-Germain, on a two-year deal, which has the option of a third year. A news conference will be held by PSG in the auditorium of the Parc des Princes on Wednesday to that effect. He will earn about $35 million to $41 million after tax per season while at PSG. "It's all been confirmed. Lionel Messi is going to be a PSG player," Balague said on BBC Radio 5 Live. "That's it, it's done. It's happened in the last few minutes. "At the moment there are as much police as there are fans [at the stadium]. That's going to change soon. There's eight cameras here, again that's going to change. It seems like it is a two-year deal, plus one. "His idea was to do it at Barcelona but it's going to be PSG. Then if he feels OK he will stay one more year maybe. Neymar and father file another lawsuit against Barcelona

Spanish newspaper El Mundo reports that PSG star Neymar, and father have lodged another lawsuit against FC Barcelona - his former club. They demand  € 3.5 million in unpaid wages, and accuse club president Josep Maria Bartomeu of acting in "absolute bad faith", issuing "reprisals" as a way of punishing the PSG forward for walking out on the Spain giants in 2017. The 27-year-old also believes the Catalan side owe him  €43.6m  via a renewal bonus. According to El Mundo, FC Barcelona also believe Neymar owes them  €8.5 million in damages and interest, and even more due to the first part of a renewal bonus. This financial stand-off makes a Neymar return to Barcelona even more unlikely, despite both parties expressing a desire for the Brazilian's return to Camp Nou last summer.  Neymar won two La Liga titles and 1 Champions League title during his four-year spell with Barcelona (from 2013 to 2017) then left the club in controversial circumstances in 2017. ...

Gianluigi Buffon returns to Juventus after one season at Paris Saint-Germain

Former Italy skipper Gianluigi Buffon, has completed an emotional return to his former club Juventus. The 41-year-old goalkeeper had spent 17 years with the Turin giants before joining Paris Saint-Germain last summer. A happy Buffon said "life is incredible" after returning to the Turin giants. He will be Wojciech Szczesny's understudy for the 2019-2020 season. Today I received confirmation that life is incredible and it’s always worth dreaming.” The seasoned skipper has signed a one-year contract with the bianconeri. The highly decorated player has won nine Serie A titles and four Italian Cups, the French league last season, in addition to the 2006 World Cup.
