The Spanish branch of animal rights group Anima Naturalis organised a protest against the use of fur and leather, and the protest held in Barcelona on Sunday, December 16, 2018. The activists stripped naked and covered themselves in fake blood, at the busy Plaza Catalunya square - one of Barcelona's main shopping and tourism destinations. The activists lay naked and motionless, in their dozens, beside a placard which read "How many lives for just a coat?"
