10th of October 2019 was the date of the premiere of the Messi 10 Cirque du Soleil show - a production about Messi's life - at Barcelona. Six-time FIFA Player of the Year Lionel Messi was in attendance at the premiere. The show was split into two 45 minutes halves, just like a game of football. Messi was accompanied by his stunning wife Antonela Rocuzzo. Barcelona players like Ansu Fati (and his family) and Luis Suarez (and his wife Sofia Balbi) were also in attendance. Other high-profile Barcelona players could not attend the event due to being on international duty. Barcelona were represented by a number of board members, led by the president, Josep Maria Bartomeu. La Liga president Javier Tebas also attended and spoke to the press. The Cirque du Soleil show will later move to Messi's homeland, Argentina, and perform in Buenos Aires.
