2019 VMA Awards: Complete Winners List

The 2019 MTV VMA awards were broadcast live on August 26, from New Jersey's Prudential Center, with  Sebastian Maniscalco as host . Ariana Grande and Taylor Swift were the most nominated artists with 12 nods each. Billie Eilish followed with nine, and Lil Nas X with eight. Missy Eliott was honored with the Video Vanguard award in celebration of her rich decades-long career. She got to perform a number of hits, including her new song "Throw It Back", and featured "Work It" dancer Alyson Stoner. Other performers included Taylor Swift, Lil Nas X, Miley Cyrus, Lizzio, and others. Grande won Artist of the year, and Taylor Swift Video of the year for "You Need to Calm Down". Eilish won Best new artist and Lil Nas, Song of the year. 2019 BET Awards: The winners list

The 19th annual BET Awards ceremony was hosted by Regina Hall, yesterday. The BET awards seek to recognize winners across 20 categories in a "celebration of black culture". The ceremony which aired live from the Microsoft Theater in downtown Los Angeles lasted for more than three and a half hours. However, not all the trophies were handed out during the performance-and tribute-heavy TV presentation. Tyler Perry was honored with the  Ultimate Icon Award , Mary J. Blige received the  Lifetime Achievement Award , and Nipsey Hussle (who was killed in March) was posthumously honored with the  Humanitarian Award . Here is a full list of award nominees and winners. Cardi B reportedly postpones shows to recover from plastic surgery

Hip-hop artist Cardi B just backed out of a Memorial Day Weekend concert scheduled for May 24 in Baltimore, Maryland, and  TMZ  reports is due to serious complications from her recent plastic surgeries. The "Money" rapper also postponed a concert in El Paso, Texas on Tuesday, May 21. According to  TMZ , sources close to Cardi revealed she needs time to recover from her recent breast augmentation and liposuction. As per  TMZ , Cardi's condition has gotten so bad that she can't perform, with doctors encouraging her to take a break for the swelling to go down and for her body to fully recover. According to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, full recovery time averages six weeks for breast augmentation and several months for liposuction. Billboard Music Awards 2019: Complete List of Winners

The MGM Garden Arena, Las Vegas, was host to the 2019 Billboard Music Awards which held on May 1, 2019. This was a glorious night for Drake who officially became the most decorated artist in the history of the Billboard Music Awards. On Wednesday night, Drake saw his overall Billboard Awards tally rise to 27. Taylor Swift and Brendon Urie opened the show with a beautiful performance.  BTS, Paula Abdul, Jonas Brothers, Halsey, Madonna, Khalid, and 2019 ICON Award recipient Mariah Carey also graced the awards ceremony with their performances. Cardi B who led the nominees with 21 nominations in 18 categories took home a number of awards (6), which include top rap female artist, Top Hot 100 song, top-selling song, top radio song, top collaboration and top rap song.
