La crème de la crème of Hollywood's celebrities have responded present at the 2019 American Music Awards taking place at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles, California. Ciara is hosting the awards ceremony and is performing tonight as well.  Taylor Swift performed some of her career's biggest hits, and bagged the Artist of the Decade award and Favorite Album in the pop/rock category. Other performers at the awards include: Lizzo, Ciara, Selena Gomez, Shania Twain, Thomas Rhett, Jonas Brothers, Green Day, Dua Lipa, Halsey, Christina Aguilera, Toni Braxton and Billie Eilish. The 2019 MTV VMA awards were broadcast live on August 26, from New Jersey's Prudential Center, with  Sebastian Maniscalco as host . Ariana Grande and Taylor Swift were the most nominated artists with 12 nods each. Billie Eilish followed with nine, and Lil Nas X with eight. Missy Eliott was honored with the Video Vanguard award in celebration of her rich decades-long career. She got to perform a number of hits, including her new song "Throw It Back", and featured "Work It" dancer Alyson Stoner. The nominations for the 2018 American Music Awards were revealed (on September 12) live from YouTube Space L.A. by Kane Brown, Ella Mai, Normani and Bebe Rexha. Tracee Ellis Ross will be hosting the AMAs for the second year in a row.
