Kathryn Mayorga accused Portuguese football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo (last year) of raping her in Las Vegas hotel suite over a decade ago (June 2009). Ms Mayorga claimed after her and Ronaldo danced in the VIP area of the Rain nightclub - in the glamorous Palms Casino Resort where she worked - Ronaldo then raped her in his luxury suite before paying her $375,000 in "hush money". Last week, lawyers revealed they will "decline to prosecute" 10-year-old claims against the footballer because the allegations "cannot be proven beyond a reasonable doubt". The Juventus striker has firmly denied the rape allegations from day one. Ms Mayorga is now suing Ronaldo for $200,000 in damages - she claims Ronaldo or a worker of his allowed the hush settlement they had to become public last year.
