A bigger than usual Hazard was photographed arriving at Madrid's training ground. Chelsea fans have been mocking at his looks, and Real Madrid fans, their displeasure. Both camps took to social media to share their thoughts. "Pretty sure he's [Gonzalo] Higuain," said a Chelsea fan. "Needs to lose that weight..." another replied. "Fatzard," joked a supporter. Maurizio Sarri compares Hazard's Chelsea impact to Messi's at Barcelona

In assessing Eden Hazard's performance for Chelsea in their 2-1 victory at Watford, Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri brought up Barcelona ace Lionel Messi. Hazard crossed a century of Chelsea goals in the Blue's triumph at Watford, being the lone goalscorer for Chelsea in the game. The 27-year-old forward is looked upon as a talisman in Chelsea, and has been directly involved in 19 Premier league goals in 18 games this season, the most for any player in the league. Given Hazard's crucial importance to Chelsea, Sarri qualifies Hazard's importance to that of Messi and Ronaldo to their respective teams. "He is very important for us. Messi is very important for Barcelona," said Sarri. "Hazard scored twice today. He is very able to open space for his team-mates." "Maybe we played with quality against Leicester, but today we had much better application for the 90 minutes," he added. Still talking of Hazard, he said, "It is difficu

Roberto Martinez: Hazard is next best in the world after Messi and Ronaldo

Belgium national team manager Roberto Martinez recently claimed Chelsea star Eden Hazard is the most decisive player in the world after Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. The talismanic Stamford Bridge figure starred for Chelsea and Belgium in 2018, positioning himself at the top of the Premier League ranks. Martinez told  The Times ,  “At international level, I have only seen a player playing at the very top consistently. “If you take Ronaldo and Messi away, I don’t think you can find another player as decisive.  “Eden has won the league at Lille, a team that didn’t have the right to win it. “And he has won the league at Chelsea in two different projects.  “The consistency is there, and he is at the best moment of his career right now.” Hazard has scored eight goals and made nine assists for Chelsea this season. Sky Sports pundit Paul Merson believes Hazard is much more able than his peers at Manchester United, given his ability to single-handedly carry Chelsea.

Chelsea want £200million from Real Madrid for Eden Hazard

The highly speculated transfer of Eden Hazard to Real Madrid takes a dramatic twist as Chelsea have placed a £200million tag on Hazard. Real is willing to pay £150million for the Belgian ace but Chelsea want more than Neymar's world record £198million that Paris Saint-Germain paid Barcelona for the Brazilian forward. Following the turn of events, Real are reportedly ready to cool off their interest in Hazard. Hazard has two years left on his contract with Chelsea but hasn't renewed with the club despite Chelsea offering him a £300,000/week deal. The Blues boss Maurizio Sarri is ready to hand Hazard captaincy of the team to keep him happy. Hazard had hinted at the 2018 World Cup finals that he was ready to move to his dream club Real Madrid if he were made an offer.  Jose Mourinho has shown great interest in Chelsea's Willian while  Real Madrid pursue their hunt for Chelsea goalkeeper Courtois. New Chelsea boss Sarri is doing his best to retain his key players.

The Chelsea forward told Belgian outlet HLN  “After six wonderful years at Chelsea it might be time to discover something different.” “Certainly after this World Cup.
