Drake, born Aubrey Drake Graham is a Canadian-American rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer and actor. Drake is one of the most prominent rappers of his generation and an iconic figure in the music industry. He started his career in the early 2000s as an actor in the TV series  Degrassi: The Next Generation , before embarking on his musical career in 2007. Drake faced a number of adversities in his childhood - his parents divorcing when he was only five, his father getting arrested for drug-related charges, and others. Growing up, he was also bullied at school for being black and Jewish.  Drake holds several Billboard records, including the most charted songs (186) among solo artists in the history of the Billboard Hot 100. Shakira took to her social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Google Plus) yesterday to thank fans after wrapping up her sold-out 'El Dorado' World Tour in Europe, Asia, and North America. The Colombian hitmaker posted a two-plus-minute video thanking her fans for all their love and support, expressing gratitude for the unforgettable concerts and told fans each and every of the shows felt like the first one. The 2018 People's Choice Awards finalists were announced Monday September 24. This announcement marked the beginning of the second round of voting, which ends on October 19. You can vote  here . 43 categories (with five finalists each) are up for the coveted People's Choice Awards trophies. Ariana Grande and BTS lead the nominations in music with four nominations each. Cardi B, Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes are next in line with three nods each.  Grey's Anatomy  and  Shadowhunters  lead nominations in the TV acts with five nominations a piece.  13 Reasons Why  and  Riverdale  follow closely with four nominations each.  The Big Bang Theory  and  This Is Us follow  with three nominations each. Actresses like Viola Davis and Mandy Moore are among the nominees in the Female TV Star of 2018 category.
