Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi? Jose Mourinho choses

Chelsea and Manchester United former boss Jose Mourinho was asked to settle the eternal Messi vs Ronaldo debate in his first television appearance since his Manchester United departure. Both Messi and Ronaldo have scored more than 600 goals in all competitions, with Messi leading the score tally in their 35 matches against each other - 16 goals for Messi and 10 for Ronaldo. On the other hand, Ronaldo is the Champion's League all-time top goalscorer while Messi is second. They have each claimed the Ballon d'Or five times, a 10 year duopoly that was recently ended (in 2018) by Luka Modric. Weighing in on the Messi vs Ronaldo debate, Mourinho said: "I think it’s unfair to both of them when somebody tells [says] ‘this one is better than the other one’. I think they’re just different. "When I had Ronaldo on my side I was a very happy man. But when I had to play against Messi I had to think a lot to try and help my team to have chances to succeed. "

Messi reveals his favorite goal for Barcelona after 400 La Liga goals landmark

Lionel Messi's strike in Barcelona's most recent La Liga outing vs Eibar saw him reach yet another huge milestone in his praiseworthy career - the 400 goal mark in La Liga. Talking to  Mundo Deportivo , the 31-year-old Barcelona captain singled out his best goal, which happens to be his first goal, against Albacete, back in May 2005.  "The first against Albacete from the pass of Ronnie [Ronaldinho], I will never forget," he said.  "The goals of the Clasicos are always special and against hard opponents that are usually  Atletico Madrid ,  Valencia  and  Sevilla ...  "Those that I have had the luck to score against our fans here in the Camp Nou they are always nice, and they are also special that I scored as a visitor because of the difficulty of playing away. "In the end, the most important goals are not the most spectacular, but those that serve us as a team to win." Talking about the 400 goal mark in La Liga, Messi said, "I

Zlatan Ibrahimovic criticizes Cristiano Ronaldo's "challenge" move to Juventus

Los Angeles Galaxy forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic has repeatedly ripped apart any target of his, and has made the rather self-assured Cristiano Ronaldo his target this time. Ibrahimovic has rubbished Ronaldo's claim that he left Real Madrid for Juventus because he enjoyed a "challenge". Ronaldo switched to the Italian giants following  a  £99.2m transfer deal in the summer, and in December challenged his former La Liga rival Lionel Messi to leave Barcelona and join him in Italy. "I've played in England, Spain, Italy, Portugal and for my national team, while he's still in Spain,"  said Ronaldo. "Maybe he needs me more. For me, life is a challenge. I like it and I like to make people happy." Ibrahimovic, a former Juventus player spoke to Voetbal Niews and gave his opinion on the matter. He said,  "Ronaldo talks about challenges but he decided to go to a club who have been winning the Serie A title with their eyes closed. &quo
