BAFTA Film Awards 2019: Complete list of nominees and winners

The Film Awards winners of the 2019 British Academy of Film and Television Awards (BAFTA) were announced on February 10, 2019.  The Favourite  was the top winner with seven awards out of its 12 nominations. Alfonso CuarĂłn’s Spanish language black-and-white Netflix film,  Roma , won four BAFTA awards: Best Film, Director, Cinematography and Film Not in the English Language.  Bohemian Rhapsody  took home two awards.  A Star is Born won  one award - for original music, out of its seven nominations. 2019 Oscar nominations: Full list by category

The Academy unveiled its Oscar nominatioms for the 91st Academy Awards, early Tuesday morning. The Academy Awards will air on Febraury 24 at 5 p.m. PT/8 p.m. ET on ABC. "Roma" and "The Favourite" led all films, scoring 10 nimations each. Alongside Black Panther,” “BlacKkKlansman,” “Bohemian Rhapsody,” “A Star Is Born,” “Vice,” and “Green Book", "Roma" and "The Favourite" were nominated for Best picture. "A Star is Born" and "Vice" were the second most nominated pair with eight nods apiece. "Black Panther" was next with seven, "BlacKkKlansman" with six, and "Bohemian Rhapsody" and "Green Book" with five each. Lady Gaga grabbed her first Best Actress Oscar nomination for "A Star Is Born". Seven-time Award Academy nominee Glenn Close was also nominated for Best Actress. Other nominees for Best Actress are Olivia Colman for “The Favourite,” Yalitza Aparicio for “Roma,” 

2019 Golden Globe Winners: The Complete List

The awards of the 2019 Golden Globes (76th edition) took place on January 6 2019, at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles, California. The event was hosted by Andy Samberg and Sandra Oh. In the film categories, the two big winners of the night were  Green Book  and  Bohemian Rhapsody .  Green Book  took home Best Screenplay, Best Supporting actor (Mahershala Ali), and Best Picture - Comedy or Musical.  Bohemian Rhapsody  won the Golden Globe for Best Picture - Drama and its main actor Rami Malek was awarded the Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Motion Picture Drama.
