The awards of the 2019
Golden Globes (76th edition) took place on January 6 2019, at the Beverly
Hilton in Los Angeles, California. The event was hosted by Andy Samberg and
Sandra Oh. In the film categories, the two big winners of the night were Green
Book and Bohemian Rhapsody. Green Book took
home Best Screenplay, Best Supporting actor (Mahershala Ali), and Best Picture
- Comedy or Musical. Bohemian Rhapsody won the Golden Globe
for Best Picture - Drama and its main actor Rami Malek was awarded the Golden
Globe for Best Actor in a Motion Picture Drama. In the Musical or Comedy
category, Olivia Colman (The Favorite) and Christian Bale (Vice)
grabbed the top acting honors.
