Luis Suarez slams Barcelona after Anfield defeat, Valverde apologizes

After an unfruitful, devastating night for Barcelona at Anfield yesterday, Barcelona striker Luis Suarez said his side "looked like schoolboys" after Liverpool overturned Barcelona's 3-0 first leg lead and won the game on aggregate to advance to the Champions League finals. Barcelona repeated the same mistakes they made last year, throwing away a three-goal first leg lead; last year in a quarter-final second leg in Rome, and now in the semi-final return leg at Anfield. Spanish media have labelled the defeat "The biggest farce in football" and "The blackest page in Barcelona's history". The Reds won 4-0 at Anfield, with Divock Origi converting a quick corner from Trent Alexander-Arnold into the winner Liverpool needed.
"We have to be ready for all the criticism that is going to rain down on us now," former Liver player Suarez said.
"We are very sad, we are in a lot of pain."
"It cannot be that in a minute we concede two goals. The fourth goal we looked like youngsters", said Suarez, who was booed all night by his old fans.
"It's the second time the same happens to us. We cannot make these mistakes two years in a row, we have to reproach ourselves for what we are doing wrong, thinking that everything was finalized.
"We are the ones who play. The coach made the tactics that he made in the first leg. We, the players, have to be self-aware, we are the ones who play.
"We have to apologize for the attitude, we were not a team. To our families, our children, our fans, we have to ask their forgiveness.
According to beIN SPORTS reporter Matt Critchley, Suarez was seen congratulating and catching up with his former Liverpool colleagues long after the final whistle in the tunnel.
Barcelona manager Ernesto Valverde was lost for words after Barcelona crashed out of the Champions League following a 4 - 0  defeat at Anfield. Unable to explain why Barcelona was so bitterly defeated in his post-match interview, he settled for an apology.
"They started aggressively, as we expected, but to lose like this is inexcusable.
"To begin the game with a 3-0 lead and to lose 4-0 is simply unacceptable.
"This has happened to us for the second year in a row, and this is especially painful for everyone involved."
"I don't know what happened with the fourth goal. When I saw the cross come into our area, it was already in the goal."
"The next few days will be horrible, we know that, but we must get through it.
"All I can do is apologize to the fans that have traveled."

The finger-cutting tradition of Indonesia's Dani tribe

The death of a loved one is always an extremely painful thing to bear, and people of different cultures grieve in diverse ways, some more unique than others. A typically unique way of grieving is that of the Dani (an Indonesian tribe). Finger-cutting is a fundamental part of grieving for women of the Dani tribe, and pertains to their women only. According to The Globe and Mail, an estimated 250,000 Dani tribe members live in a town named Wamena, in the extremely remote central highland area of Papua Province. Wamena is only accessible by plane.  Upon the death of a loved one, the top joint of one of a woman's fingers would be amputated, and smear ashes and clay across their faces. Prior to amputation, a string would be firmly tied to the upper half of the woman's finger for 30 minutes, to cause numbness. This was to reduce the pain from amputating the tip. In most cases, the responsibility of cutting off the top joint of the finger is assigned to one of the woman's
