Real Madrid fans mock 'fat' Hazard as the Belgian star turns up for pre-season training

Former Chelsea star and new Real Madrid ace Eden Hazard has gained a little weight after securing his dream move to Real Madrid, but Real Madrid fans are unhappy about his current physical state. A bigger than usual Hazard was photographed arriving at Madrid's training ground.

Chelsea fans have been mocking at his looks, and Real Madrid fans, their displeasure. Both camps took to social media to share their thoughts.

"Pretty sure he's [Gonzalo] Higuain," said a Chelsea fan.

"Needs to lose that weight..." another replied.

"Fatzard," joked a supporter.

"Typical Eden returning with that fat off season belly," added another.

A displeased Real Madrid fan tweeted, "We really paid 100 mill for a fat Hazard".

However, Hazard will be able to get back in shape as he begins training with Real Madrid ahead of the upcoming La Liga campaign.

The Real Madrid Galactico was unveiled in June, and made it clear he was in Spain for business.

"This has been my dream since I was a child and now I’m here. I just want to enjoy this moment.

“I plan to enjoy myself, because here at Real Madrid you have to win as much as possible.

“Hopefully I can write another page in the history of the club. There is not one star here but a whole team of stars.
