Suicide is a difficult and sensitive topic but one which must be addressed if we are to reduce the number of suicides recorded all round the world. What makes it all the more complex is the reasons cannot be fully understood owing to the nature of death by suicide. Nonetheless, we can try to understand the potential contributing factors. Statistics reveal that women are three times more likely to attempt suicide, but men are three times more likely to die from suicide. What's more, 62% of women who are successful at suicide have made a previous attempt, whereas 62% of men who die from suicide have not attempted suicide before. Worth noting is the fact that women tend to have higher rates of depression diagnosis. In 2016, there were 793,000 deaths by suicide worldwide, and majority were men. Taylor Swift accepts Tour of the Year Award Thursday at the iHeartRadio Music Awards in Los Angeles. The sixth annual iHeartRadio Music Awards returned on Thursday, March 14, 2019, and was aired live on  FOX at 8/7C, from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. The show was hosted by R&B singer/rapper/producer T-Pain. Top stars like Arana Grande, Alicia Keys, Halsey, the Backstreet Boys, John Legend and Garth Brooks graced the night with their performances. Ethiopian Airlines plane crash: All 157 people on board dead

Ethiopian Airlines CEO at crash site (Bishoftu) Eight crew members and 149 passengers who were aboard flight ET302 from the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa, to Nairobi in Kenya, have been killed in a plane crash this morning. Ethiopian Airlines reported that there were 33 different nationalities on board Boeing 737-800MAX. A spokesperson for the Chinese Embassy to Ethiopia revealed that there were eight Chinese passengers on board. CNN reports that the plane lost contact at 08:44 am local time, six minutes after taking off from Bole International Airport in Addis Ababa. The cause of the crash is still unknown. Ethiopian Airlines tweeted,  "The group CEO who is at the accident scene right now regrets to confirm that there are no survivors. "He expresses his profound sympathy and condolences to the families and loved ones of passengers and crew who lost their lives in this tragic accident."
