The
sixth annual iHeartRadio Music Awards returned on Thursday, March 14, 2019, and
was aired live on FOX at 8/7C, from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. The
show was hosted by R&B singer/rapper/producer T-Pain. Top stars like Arana
Grande, Alicia Keys, Halsey, the Backstreet Boys, John Legend and Garth Brooks
graced the night with their performances. Alicia Keys was honored with the
iHeartRadio Innovator Award, while Halsey was presented with the iHeartRadio
Fangirls Award. Brooks was awarded the first Artist of the Decade Award.
Taylor Swift was honored with the coveted Tour of the Year
Award. In her acceptance speech, she revealed new music was underway. "I
also just wanted to say before I go that I love your passion, I love your
attention to detail, I love how much you care, and I love seeing all the things
that you're posting online," she said. "I just wanted to let you know
that when there's new music you will be the first to know. I love you so
much."
