Gianluigi Buffon returns to Juventus after one season at Paris Saint-Germain

Former Italy skipper Gianluigi Buffon, has completed an emotional return to his former club Juventus. The 41-year-old goalkeeper had spent 17 years with the Turin giants before joining Paris Saint-Germain last summer. A happy Buffon said "life is incredible" after returning to the Turin giants. He will be Wojciech Szczesny's understudy for the 2019-2020 season. I am happy to have returned home and to have the opportunity to embrace you and be embraced by you again," said Buffon.  “This is one of the most beautiful and happiest days of my life. Today I received confirmation that life is incredible and it’s always worth dreaming.” The seasoned skipper has signed a one-year contract with the bianconeri. The highly decorated player has won nine Serie A titles and four Italian Cups, the French league last season, in addition to the 2006 World Cup.

Cristiano Ronaldo may be on holiday but he's already thinking of the 2019/2020 season. The Juventus star has expressed his desire to add more silverware to his collection this year, under new Old Lady manager, Maurizio Sarri. Arriving Madeira, he told journalists, "I'm always ready. Juventus faced Switzerland's BSC Young Boys yesterday in their final Champions League group game. Ronaldo denied lone Juventus goalscorer Paulo Dybala a last-minute equalizer which could have been a contender for goal of the season. Ronaldo has just recently been transferred from Madrid to Juventus and the internet is breaking lose! The announcement was made on July 10, 2018 with Real Madrid confirming that they had agreed to sell Ronaldo. An announcement was later made by Juventus of the four-year contract signed by Ronaldo with the club.
