Shakira Performs at the Davis Cup Finals in Madrid

If you're a tennis lover, then you're probably aware that Barcelona footballer Gerard Pique revamped and organized the just ended Davis Cup - a tennis tournament designed by Rakuten World Champions that took place in Spain from Monday, November 18th 2019 to today, Sunday, November 24th.  Colombian pop-star and humanitarian Shakira - who happens to be Pique's partner and mother of their two kids - opened up the Davis Cup finale today with an electric performance of a few of her top hits, including a remix of her countryman Camilo's hit, Tutu which she performed with him and Pedro.  Shakira dazzled and thrilled the audience at Madrid performing in a navy sequinned bodysuit. Lionel Messi attends Messi10 Cirque du Soleil premiere in Barcelona

10th of October 2019 was the date of the premiere of the Messi 10 Cirque du Soleil show - a production about Messi's life - at Barcelona. Six-time FIFA Player of the Year Lionel Messi was in attendance at the premiere. The show was split into two 45 minutes halves, just like a game of football. Messi was accompanied by his stunning wife Antonela Rocuzzo. Barcelona players like Ansu Fati (and his family) and Luis Suarez (and his wife Sofia Balbi) were also in attendance. Other high-profile Barcelona players could not attend the event due to being on international duty. Barcelona were represented by a number of board members, led by the president, Josep Maria Bartomeu. La Liga president Javier Tebas also attended and spoke to the press. The Cirque du Soleil show will later move to Messi's homeland, Argentina, and perform in Buenos Aires. Shakira Announces 'El Dorado World Tour' Concert Film

Shakira was on tour in Europe, Asia, North and Latin America in 2018, under the El Dorado World tour, and will be bringing the tour from arenas to movie theaters with a concert film, come November.  Shakira in Concert: El Dorado World Tour , directed by the Colombian singer and James Merryman, will premiere internationally in a one-night event on November 13th, in more than 2000 theaters across 60 countries, with encore screenings in select locations, announced Trafalgar Releasing, Sony Music, and Shakira Entertainment on Wednesday (August 28). “Trafalgar Releasing are really excited to be bringing to cinemas this incredible story, which illustrates Shakira’s determination and drives from her vocal cord injury through to bringing her amazing El Dorado shows to almost a million fans around the world. 2019 Billboard Latin Music Awards: Complete List of Winners

The 2019 Billboard Latin Music Awards was broadcast live on Telemundo from the Mandalay Bay Center in Las Vegas, on Thursday, April 25, 2019. The show was hosted by Gaby Espino. Ozuna became the biggest winner in a single year in the history of the awards, taking home 11 awards. He had earlier made history by becoming the single biggest finalist in the history of the Billboard Latin Music Awards with 23 nominations in 15 categories. Among Ozuna's awards are Hot Latin Songs artist of the year, male, and top Latin albums artist of the year, male, while “Te Boté,” the hit ensemble song on which he shares the spotlight with Casper Magico, Nio Garcia, Darell, Nicky Jam and Bad Bunny nabbed three awards, including Hot Latin Song of the year. Nicky Jam grabbed five awards and Bad Bunny, four. Shakira teams up with Pandora to encourage self expression

Colombian superstar Shakira has joined PANDORA Americas in a year-long 'multifaceted' partnership as brand ambassador. She will encourage women to express their creativity and personality by telling their own story (self-expression). “ Each of us have different ways of telling our story; I’m happy to have joined forces with a brand like Pandora and love that their collections allow people to make their own unique designs that speak to who they are ,” the three-time Grammy Award winner said in a statement. 2019 iHeartRadio Music Awards: Complete List of Nominees

The nominees for the well-known iHeartRadio Music Awards have been revealed. Cardi B leads the pack with 13 nominations for a number of top collaborations she made last year, including "I Like It" with Bad Bunny and J Balvin, "Girls Like You" with Maroon 5, and "Finesse Remix" with Bruno Mars. Drake is the second most-nominated artist with 8 nominations, with three of his songs nominated for hip-hop song of the year: "God's Plan", "In My Feelings", and "Nice for What". Post Malone is next in line with 5 nominations, which include hip-hop artist of the year, male artist of the year, and "Better Now" for song of the year. Ariana Grande and Maroon 5 also earned 5 nominations each.  Voting is open to fans  in a number of categories. 2019 Premio Lo Nuestro Nominations: Complete list of nominees

Awards season is booming, and Premio Lo Nuestro have just revealed the official nominees for the Premio Lo Nuestro Awards (January 8, 2019). Natti Natasha leads the pack of nominees with 15 nominations, and is followed by J Balvin and Bad Bunny who share 12 nods apiece, then Ozuna with 10, Nicky Jam with 8, and Maluma, Becky G, and Wisin with 7. Brazilian artist Anitta grabbed four nominations, and pop queen Shakira, 3. Voting is open from January 8 to January 22.
