'Nada'
is the fifth and most likely final single from Shakira's eleventh studio album, El Dorado.
She debuted the video on the large screens at the final concert of her El
Dorado World Tour, and made the video available worldwide with its YouTube
release. She had earlier announced on Instagram, that the video clip would be
exclusively released during the ultimate concert of El Dorado Tour in Bogota,
Colombia. With the wrap of her sixth tour in Colombia, the Colombian pop star
shared a post on her social media accounts thanking her fans. It read,
"We've reached the end of this road. Your friendship and affection
are my treasure. After searching and searching thanks to you I’ve found El
Dorado. Shak”
Shakira was so emotional with the end of her tour in her motherland, Colombia. She shared a video on Instagram of her laughing and crying at the same time during the show at Bogota.
The 'Chantaje' singer
explores loneliness in the pop-rock themed single. A barefooted Shakira is
alone in the visual, away from everyone, in an house. She walks barefoot
through the lonely house, singing about a woman who feels totally empty despite
having everything because the person she loves is not by her. Shakira delivers
dramatic dance moves as she "walks on water". The video ends with
Shakira belting out the tune from the top of a lighthouse.
