Lionel Messi Sensational against Real Villadolid

Outrageous is probably the best adjective that qualifies Lionel Messi's performance vs Valladolid on October 29th, 2019. Messi was directly involved in four of Barcelona's five goals as he scored twice and set up two goals in Barcelona's table-topping 5-1 win over Real Valladolid at the CampNou yesterday night.
A great volley from Clement Lenglet in the second minute of play gave Barcelona the lead early on. But the visitors equalized on the quarter hour through Kiko Olivas, after Ter Stergen misplayed a free kick into the box. Messi set the ball rolling in favor of the Blaugrana as he provided a wondrous assist for Arturo Vidal's goal - Barcelona's second. He later on bent in a trademark breathtaking free kick in the first half of the game - he put the ball in the top right-hand corner of the goal from 30 yards.
Messi has now scored 50 goals direct from free kicks in his career - 44 for Barcelona and 6 for Argentina. Barcelona was leading 3-1 at half-time.
The Blaugrana No 10 tried to set up a goal for Ansu Fati after the break but Valladolid keeper Masip kept out the teenager's shot. An Ivan Rakitic pass enabled Messi to score Barcelona's fourth goal. Messi set up a beautiful assist for Luis Suarez's goal as Barcelona reached the final scoreline of 5-1. Messi's two goals yesterday were his 100th and 101st for head coach Ernesto Valverde.
Aside scoring and assisting, Messi nutmeged two opposition players in spectacular fashion. His first victim was Oscar Plano, then Sergi Guardiola. ESPN rated Messi's performance a 10/10.
Barcelona are now two points ahead of second-placed Granada who face Getafe on Thursday. Everyone was impressed with Messi's convincing performance. His teammate Arturo Vidal said, "Leo showed all the quality he has, when he's like that the team really feels it.
"We see him every day and he surprises us every day, with the quality he has, he's from another planet.
"I have no words to talk about Leo, he's from another world, everything he does, he does well."
Valladolid captain Michel was full of praise for Messi as well, as he said: "They are very good and they don't let you off the hook, Messi worked wonders.
"You just have to applaud [Messi] and enjoy him."
Head coach Valverde gushed, "What can we say about Leo? I've run out of words.
"Every time he gets the ball, something happens. It's good for us and bad for the opposition. He has a talent that no one else has. It's not just that he makes thing happen, he sees things no one else does. I'm convinced that what he sees cannot even be seen up in the stands.
"Every day he's better [after injury], which is obviously good for us. You can see that he's looking fresher. We're happy because he's feeling good and because we're enjoying how he's playing."
Messi suffered an injury-hit start to the season missing four of Barcelona's first six games. He however has been able to score four goals in his last three games.

The finger-cutting tradition of Indonesia's Dani tribe

The death of a loved one is always an extremely painful thing to bear, and people of different cultures grieve in diverse ways, some more unique than others. A typically unique way of grieving is that of the Dani (an Indonesian tribe). Finger-cutting is a fundamental part of grieving for women of the Dani tribe, and pertains to their women only. According to The Globe and Mail, an estimated 250,000 Dani tribe members live in a town named Wamena, in the extremely remote central highland area of Papua Province. Wamena is only accessible by plane.  Upon the death of a loved one, the top joint of one of a woman's fingers would be amputated, and smear ashes and clay across their faces. Prior to amputation, a string would be firmly tied to the upper half of the woman's finger for 30 minutes, to cause numbness. This was to reduce the pain from amputating the tip. In most cases, the responsibility of cutting off the top joint of the finger is assigned to one of the woman's
