932 coronavirus deaths in Spain in 24 hours


Spain with the second-highest coronavirus death toll in the world, has further extended this grim record. The coronavirus pandemic has claimed 932 more lives in the country over the past 24 hours, taking its total number of deaths to 10,935. This is a slight decrease from Thursday's 950. More than half of these deaths have come in the past seven days.
7,472 new coronavirus cases were recorded - a 6.8% increase. The total number of coronavirus cases in the country now stand at 117,710. 3,500 people have recovered from coronavirus in Spain since yesterday. So far, 30,513 people have recovered.
