On Wednesday, March 25, Italy's Civil Protection Agency
reported 683 deaths from coronavirus, taking its total death count to 7,503.
This is a decline from yesterday's 743. The death count from Monday, Sunday and
Saturday are: 602, 650, and 793 respectively. The number of confirmed cases
today rose from 69,176 to 74,386. Italy has recorded 9,362 recoveries from the
virus so far. Angelo Borelli, the head of the Civil Protection Agency, was
absent from the customary new conference to display the data because he came
down with a fever on Wednesday and was being tested for coronavirus.
