Coronavirus: 368 new deaths in Italy

The number of deaths from the coronavirus in Italy keeps rising by the day. 368 more deaths have been recorded between Saturday and Sunday, taking the total death tally to 1,809. The total number of coronavirus infections have also risen, from 21,157 cases on Saturday to 24,747 on Sunday.

In Spain, the wife of Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez - Begona Gomez - has been diagnosed with coronavirus. Qatar now has 401 cases, with four of those recovering. Pakistan's coronavirus cases rise risen to 52.

Britain now has 1,372 coronavirus cases, and an increase in deaths from 14 to 35. The British government announced that it would be isolating older people "in the coming weeks" in a bid to step up its response to the coronavirus crisis.
