Vincius Jr. breaks Lionel Messi record in El Clasico victory over Barcelona

Lionel Messi and Barcelona had a night to forget at the Bernabeu yesterday defeated by Real Madrid in "El clasico" 2-0. Brazil youngster Vinicius Jr. however marked his name in the record books. His goal for Real Madrid in the 71st minute of play saw him break a record held by Messi - that of the youngest Clasico goalscorer. He was 19 years and 233 days old yesterday when he achieved that feat, that's 26 days younger than Lionel Messi when he scored his maiden Clasico goal in March 2007.
For the first time in over 5 years, Real Madrid got to beat Barcelona in La Liga at the Bernabeu stadium. Barcelona had the uperhand in the first half with Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibault Courtois having to produce two smart saves to keep out goals from Arthur and Messi. Real Madrid picked up the tempo in the second half with Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stergen denying Isco twice with brilliant stops. But there was only so much Ter Stergen could do singlehandedly, with the poor displays from Barcelona's defense. Vinicius Jr. broke the deadlock in the 71st minute and Mariano Diaz scored another for Real Madrid in stoppage time.
Real Madrid are now 1st in La Liga, and Barcelona 2nd, a point less than the frontrunners. 12 more games to the end of La Liga this season.

The death of a loved one is always an extremely painful thing to bear, and people of different cultures grieve in diverse ways, some more unique than others. A typically unique way of grieving is that of the Dani (an Indonesian tribe). Finger-cutting is a fundamental part of grieving for women of the Dani tribe, and pertains to their women only. According to The Globe and Mail, an estimated 250,000 Dani tribe members live in a town named Wamena, in the extremely remote central highland area of Papua Province. Wamena is only accessible by plane.  Upon the death of a loved one, the top joint of one of a woman's fingers would be amputated, and smear ashes and clay across their faces. Prior to amputation, a string would be firmly tied to the upper half of the woman's finger for 30 minutes, to cause numbness. This was to reduce the pain from amputating the tip. In most cases, the responsibility of cutting off the top joint of the finger is assigned to one of the woman's...
